a little over a year ago, i was living in a city that didn’t inspire me, studying toward a degree because i thought it was the path i was supposed to follow. from the outside, everything looked fine — i was ticking the boxes i believed would eventually lead to happiness — but deep down, i felt disconnected from the life i actually wanted to live.
i found myself constantly daydreaming about something slower, softer, and more meaningful. i wanted to create. i wanted to work with my hands. i wanted to wake up feeling inspired by my surroundings and by the work i was doing each day.
eventually, that feeling became impossible to ignore.
after moving to queenstown, new zealand, everything began to shift. surrounded by nature, mountains, changing seasons, and a slower way of living, i started reconnecting with creativity in a way i never had before. what began as sketches, fabric sourcing, and sewing slowly turned into willow — a brand created from the desire to make thoughtful, feminine clothing that feels special to wear and made to last.
every willow piece is designed and handmade in small batches with intention, using carefully sourced fabrics including limited deadstock materials wherever possible. i want willow to feel like a reflection of the life i’ve fallen in love with — soft mornings, nature, femininity, simplicity, creativity, and clothing that becomes part of meaningful everyday moments.
more than anything, willow is proof that sometimes the life meant for you exists outside the path you originally planned.
